Description: Following on from the opening evening season ride, we shall continue an exploration of the Southmoor side of the Vale, popping over the A420 to Longworth via Charney and returning via Lyford. The ride will be at the published 2* description of 11-13 mph. UPDATE: *PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING LIGHTS AS LIGHTING UP TIME WILL BE ABOUT 8PM TOWARDS THE END OF THE RIDE*

We welcomed Richard Horner on his first ride with the club. Very light winds and not too much traffic ensured a good average pace. Our return leg gave us wonderful views of the Ridgeway and a spectacular sunset. An uneventful first ride to lead, much to my relief. A big thank you to John Tranter for sweeping and mentoring and to Nicole for moral support and middling!
