Description: Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). 30km. Out via the Letcombes tonight, and back through Kingston Lisle and Goosey. Lights strongly recommended.

A few mechanicals were dealt with swiftly (thanks to all who helped!) on the ride, but the standout for me was how courteous, tolerant and friendly all the motorists in the Vale were tonight. Maybe some elephant tranquillisers have made their way into the water supply? Maybe not though, as we had a couple of good dashes from Baulking to the A417, and the ever-popular Denchworth Dash. I think everybody had a bit of a dig on one or both of these stretches. A big thank-you to newly re-qualified ride leader Andy Cowan for an exemplary job as sweeper. He didn't get to blow his new whistle though... big disappointment!
