Description:Weekly 1.5 hour rides at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly.A personal favourite short ride, containing a little of everything the vale has to offer in just over 18 miles. Outline- OMH, Denchworth, Goosey, Kingston Lisle, Westcot, Sparsholt, Childrey, Letcombes, Wantage, OMH. A couple of climbs, but taken at a comfortable pace to suit all with time to enjoy the surroundings. Distance- 18.4 miles (29.7 km) |

Report:A "textbook" summers evening saw 6 of us head off around the vale. The temperature had dropped nicely to make for a very comfortable ride, with bags of time to enjoy the surroundings. Even the Buzzard perched high up on the telegraph pole as we approached Kingston Lisle, seemed happy to casually observe us as we passed by. Climbing now done, we were rewarded with a gentle descent of Holbourne Hill and a zig zag through the Letcombes, with a very noticeable drop in temperature passing the cooling waters of Letcombe Bassett watercress beds.
