Apparently Kevin "came a croper" early on - get some proper tyres Kevin! The original plan to cycle over the downs to Aldbourne soon proved too ambitious, so a courageous Pat (another faller) took us all back to his place in Lambourn for a well deserved cup of tea and some cake that we suspect was not meant for the muddy gaggle. Refreshed, we headed back up to The Ridgeway and followed it along where another fall and a puncture slowed things down again. By the time we had got back to Manor Road the relief was all around. | ||
