Description:This week's ride is generally on the flat, about 14 miles but does include over 1 mile on bridle path. Riding pace 8 - 10mph.The route is Grove to Denchworth, then Charney Bassett, out on the Buckland Rd and take the bridle path to Pusey. Then along the B4508 back to Buckland Rd and return to Charney Bassett. The return to Denchworth will be via Lyford. Aim to be back in Grove for 8.30. |

Report:There were black heavy clouds except in the direction the 1* ride took and for most of the ride we enjoyed sunshine & good views. However it did turn 'wet' on the Lyford leg.The route needed modifications as the farmer had padlocked a gate across the track; but undeterred another off road route was found to bye pass the closed off section of track. Arrived back at 8.20, average speed 9.2mph & apparently 8 g of fat was burnt off. | ||
