Description:Devon on 8-10th May 2015. The rides will depart from the Smithaliegh in South Devon - 10 miles ish East of PlymouthThe plan for rides is Saturday - all day "Round the Moor". I will take you on my favourite ride from when I lived there. Approx 50 miles and 4300 feet of climbing. It will however be taken at touring pace (with walking up the hills allowed!!). Coffee and lunch included (and maybe ice cream on the way back). http://ridewithgps.com/routes/7042450 Sunday - a meander round Plymouth and the South Hams approx 35 - 45 miles. The plan is to take some lanes and bike paths through the South Hams and pick up the little ferry across from Wembury to Newton Ferrers. Hilly but with lovely views and stops to catch our breath. http://ridewithgps.com/routes/7651063 The idea is to allow people to experience the beautiful yet challenging countryside of South Devon without killing themselves. We will also have some local CTC riders joining us. Everyone who has booked into the Smithaleigh has been sent more details.
