Description:Our monthly off-road rides for those who like their rides bumpy and (sometimes) muddy.These will be on the second Saturday of each month at 10am from various locations. They will be about 20 miles mostly off-road and aim to finish in time for a late lunch (whether together or heading for home). The terrain will be rough, so a mountain-bike in good condition and with knobbly tyres is recommended. |

Report:4 of us in all - Nick Smart from Wallingford joining us too.'A nice day trying to get out' was how the other Nick described the weather today. The sun did eventual break through the clouds, but more importantly it didn't rain. And we spent so much time on the twisty singletrack in the woods that we didn't see much of the weather anyway. The other defining feature of the ride was meeting up at several points with an Evans organised ride - these often have 200 riders - but they started earlier than us, so we saw mostly tyre tracks. In all, a thoroughly enjoyable Saturday morning. | ||
