Description:Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly.This ride will be at the HIGH end of the grade but still within it. 40km ride that has one minor hill of note from Uffington up to the spring line road. Therefore we'll be trying to maintain a good cruise speed for the rest of the ride. The ride will finish at the Fox, Denchworth for our monthly social evening - don't forget lights for the end of the ride and the ride back from the pub. |

We mixed up the evening by doing a few drills for riding close to one another on the way out to Uffington, and then rode up to and along the spring line in normal fashion.Afterwards, we descended down through Compton Beauchamp, before a spirited section of "through and off", reaching 35 km/h as a team with relative ease. By the time we'd reached Fernham, the rhythm and smoothness of the team was in great shape. All that remained was a good-paced bunch through the Vale back to Denchworth for a natter and noggin. Well done to everyone for your efforts - 4* beckons! | ||
