Description:This week we'll take advantage of the longest Tuesday evening of the year for our longest ride of the season, a flat 14-mile ride to Stanford-in-the-Vale . We'll travel out via Charney Bassett and Gainfield, returning along Park Lane to Goosey and Denchworth, all taken at an easy pace to enjoy our surroundings.Our leisurely and sociable 10-mile club rides are designed specifically with adult newcomers to cycling and youngsters in mind, or those who just want some relaxed and sociable exercise. We cover a distance of about 10 miles at a gentle pace of 8-10 mph, following quiet country lanes and the occasional easy off-road track. We stop regularly to catch our breath, to take in the views and anything that takes our interest along the way. |

Report:This was a thoroughly relaxing ride enjoyed by four 1*regulars on a sunny if cool midsummer's evening. We even put in an extra leg to vist Goosey Green, arriving just as the tractor that had mown the meadows was leaving. | ||
