Description:Our leisurely and sociable 10-mile club rides are designed specifically with adult newcomers to cycling and youngsters in mind, or those who just want some relaxed and sociable exercise. We cover a distance of about 10 miles at a gentle pace of 8-10 mph, following quiet country lanes and the occasional easy off-road track. We stop regularly to catch our breath, to take in the views and anything that takes our interest along the way.Optional stop at The Fox in Denchworth at the end of the ride. |

Initial select group of four set off from Grove, but technology had informed the leader that the group would double in size at Denchworth. Indeed, the Paine family duly met with impeccable timing.Debate then had whether to go out to Garford, bearing in mind the wind which we would face on the return. Leader took the decision we would go for it, and so rewarded with a pleasant change of scene for a place we do not often visit. Well, there is always the pub to look forward to, and this spurred us on to get back, via Lyford, to the regular watering hole at Denchworth, which went down well as always... Thank you all for a good ride. | ||
