Report:Another dry evening and the trails are even getting to be a bit dusty. (I"m writing this on the Saturday afterwards between 2 days of heavy rain so that's probably all changing!)Good to see the return of JD making a total of 5 of us, and DY benefitting from a clean bike and well-adjusted bike thanks to me borrowing it for a test ride We we up Crab Hill and Lark Hill then crossed to Manor Hill for the climb up to the Ridgeway. Then back East, going down Jolly Green Giant and up again. At this point DY had a puncture in his tubeless tyres again - fixed with a rubber 'anchovy' and a bit of friendly help and CO2. Having rested a bit, and with user consent, down opposite Betterton and back up to Scutchamer's Knob. This all encouraged us for a final big descent at E Ginge, which is now running brilliantly again. Then across the fields a bit and back home, ending a relatively long ride just before 9pm. | ||
