DA Cycle Treasure Hunt in aid of Cancer Research UK

In aid of Cancer Research UK. Picnic from 12.00 (tea, coffee, squash available). Start Treasure Hunt between 1:30 and 2:30pm. Choice of 6 and 17 mile routes through the quiet lanes of the Vale. Entry fee

Report:
On a very pleasant sunny afternoon, 46 participated in the cycle treasure hunt including a number of families from the Wantage area. Good to see Diane and Nigel out on their bikes at last. 25 riders chose the shorter 6 mile course and 21 the longer one of 17 miles.
Overall winners of the longer course were teenagers Henry & Daniel with a maximum 64 points out of 64 with Lou Rose in second with 62. 3 groups on the short course scored maximum points: Ellen & Stephen Lee, the Jackson family from Grove and the Berry family from Witney. Congratulations to all. For those attending, prizes will be awarded at the DA BBQ on 6 July.
