ROUTE AMENDMENT:After leaving Grove via Denchworth, we'll ride along Circourt Road to the A417. Once there, and a hint that I was leading at a bit too slow a pace, we set off again over Circourt Bridge, along the A417 and up the newly reopened and resurfaced New Rd to Childrey. A few undulations further on and we arrived at our tea stop at the Teapot Tearoom at Britchcombe Farm. Although it was busy we'd timed it just right as we managed to get an outside table as queue of people came in after us. It was also very nice of the RAF to lay on a flypast of the Red Arrows and a Hercules(?) in formation whilst we were there too!Suitably refreshed we then descended Broad Way into Uffington and back to Grove via the flat roads of Baulking, Goosey and Denchworth. | ||
