Description:Weekly 1.5-2 hours ride at a riding pace of 25-29km/h (16-18mph). May be hilly. Optional stop at The Fox in Denchworth at the end of the ride.A shorter route due to the light and pub,due to hols there is plenty of room on this one so a good opportunity to see some new faces. No-one gets dropped of course,decent lights essential. |

Riders:Allen StaceyAndy Cowan Andy Pixton Elliot Whittaker Frank Schroer Jerry Bird Nick Stokell Peter Cowan Richard Saunders Riders = 9 Weather: Report:Well I`m blowed, at 620 there was a strong possibility with so many away it would be me and Frank and I wasn`t too sure about Frank;5 minutes later we had our best turnout with 9 hardy souls.Welcome Elliot,who upped the gene pool somewhat,hope to see you again next week.Andy Pixton popped up from 3* with a promise to reorganise his running day to come with us more often next year,Richard was back from Wales and it was great to see Allen and Jerry back for a second helping.Full credit and many thanks to Mr Schroer who led from start to finish,keeping a perfect tempo and the group together the whole way,which considering the lumpy terrain took some doing but must make him a serious contender for Lead-out Man 2016 at the Club Awards this year! Pub turnout was good(terrible Bouillabaise though) and I`m pretty sure we can put this one down as a good one,thanks everyone for coming and making my life easy. 30 miles av 17.5 | ||
