A wonderful evening for a cycle ride!

Terrific turn out of 11 riders on a warm Summers evening, to soon be joined by Alvaro in Wantage to make the 12. Indeed, we had to negotiate a large group of children on bikes, and I thought perhaps they might join us(!)

Ambling on through some wonderful villages, the group progressed well, and the two main hills were tackled with gusto, and each was rewarded with a glorious downhill.

On arriving in West Hendred, the leader had a "senior moment" at a junction he did not remember, and had to check with Steve S, his trusted back marker, as to which way to go! Seems that many of the riders knew which way but the leader didn't....ho hum.

All in all, a wonderful ride. Thanks all for your company.
