Description:A favourite route to the east this time. We head down the cycle path to Wantage and then take the tracks and lanes to Ginge and across to East Hendred. Up past Q Gardens and a lovely descent into Steventon. We will then head back to the Hanneys and back to Grove.There are a few sections on bike tracks but the surfaces are generally not too bad and should be suitable for all bikes (unless you've gone a bit crazy with the carbon bling). 18 miles with what feels like more downhill than uphill (I know that can't actually be right, but trust me on this...) |

It was a fairly quiet ride traffic-wise, which is always good - presumably the school holidays had something to do with that. The ride was uneventful, quite peaceful and very enjoyable as a result.
