Description:******Tuesday 16:00 ***** UPDATE******RIDE IS CANCELLED DUE TO THE DANGERS POSED BY THE GUSTING WIND AND ASSOCIATED DEBRIS ************************************************* *** Tuesday 08:15 ***** UPDATE****** The weather tonight is looking foul. High speed and gusty winds with heavy rain. Please check here or on Facebook for a 16:00 update. ***************************************************** Weekly 1.5 hour rides at a riding pace of 18-20km/h (11-13mph). Not likely to be very hilly. This is a bridging ride at the upper level of the range to allow riders to gauge their pace and gain confidence to step up to the next star level. So it's a bridging ride and no ones been up White Horse Hill on a Tuesday so far this season - so let's go  . Everyone knows how I do not skip up hills, we'll all go up Dragon Hill at our own pace and have lots of time at the top to admire the view. We'll be going via Challow and the unpaved but okay for road bikes, cycle path to Childrey, round to Sparsholt, Westcot and then the spring line road to Dragon Hill. Our return will be via Uffington, Baulking and Goosey. As this is about the hill and not distance this will be a shorter than normal ride to give us plenty of climbing time. |
