Description:Monthly 16-32km (10-20 miles) family and social afternoon rides, usually with a tea stop, at a riding pace of 13-16km/h (8-10mph). Occasional short or gentle climbs. Looking forward to this 29km route. Leaving Grove and skirting Wantage by quieter back roads, an easy stretch of gravelly bridleway links Challow and Childrey. Otherwise, a few short rises on the Springline Road will be rewarded by tea at Britchcombe Farm near Uffington. The return leg swoops down to join the Baulking Lane and it's a flat run home from there. See you soon! |

The group worked well and everyone tackled the rises on the spring line road with enthusiasm, arriving at the tea stop in good form. After tea (thanks for excellent fare and hospitality to the Teapot at Britchcombe) we enjoyed the wind at our backs and made a good pace back to Grove. Thanks to all for an enjoyable afternoon out! | ||
