Description:This is a themed local ride of around 35 miles visiting a number of locations that will be familiar to any of you that don't hide behind the sofa for "Midsomer Murders". The ride will leave Causton (Wallingford) Market Place at 13:30 and as no episode would be complete without a killer, so this ride will feature the killer climb of "Angel's Rise". We'll stop for refreshments about half-way round, but as with all good mysteries, the plot (route) will gradually unfold. Expect a riding pace at the top end of 2*/low end 3* but with a number of location stops along the way.Our guide and ride leader will be Peter Wood from CTC Wallingford. However, please let Steve know if you are planning to come to help gauge numbers. The ride will start from the Market Place outside the Tourist Information Office. The nearby Goldsmiths Lane long-stay car park (OX10 0DS) is free on Sundays. |
