Description:Off-road ride around local tracks, usually about 15 - 20 miles. Knobbly tyres and good lights required. We are keen to welcome new riders and have spare lights available to borrow if you let me know. Dark, cold and wet - we'll ride in any two. But please let me know if you are coming so I can tell you if I decide to cancel due to really bad weather. |

Report:Tonight's ride was a surprise. The tracks were not muddy, but instead provided plenty of grip as we went through the secret single-tracks guided by Robin and Dave B.From Wantage Market Place we ventured out to Letcombe Regis and then onto climb up to the Ridgeway via Gramp's Hill at Letcome Bassett. Moving eastwards we carried on along the Ridgeway before dropping down the Stileway Road and Hungerford Road to the side of the Harwell Campus. The route back took us via some craft single-track in the woods, as well as the stinging nettles and mud route to avoid the Bridge of Doom. In all, about 400 metres of climbing and a very good ride. | ||
