Riders:Frank SchroerJason Jones Riders = 2 Weather: Report:It wasn't the weather or the ride or even ride leader (I guess/hope?), but for numerous reasons (some more valid than others?) there were only 2 of us at OMH for this ride. Shame as it a good route to get some vertical meters in early spring. The threat of rain held off and whilst a kind of a hazy night it was quite pleasant with not too much wind. Progress was good, which meant a small extra bit was added near the end before heading up the A338 and down Court hill which has some impressive potholes and cracks in the road (anyone riding there at the moment - downhill specifically - be warned !). With no rider having the need to return to Grove (we both went there at the start), the ride effectively ended in Wantage, just when it was getting dark. Needless to say the 'group' did stay together well during the ride (!). | ||
