All the more remarkable as the weather was the same anticyclonic grey gloom that we have been suffering for a week or so.Despite a little drizzle earlier in the morning, the ride was dry, with the sky being a little brighter than of late. 16 riders dictated a split and thanks are due to JT for taking the second group - unfortunately, my instructions at the off were a little ambiguous and we started with a 7:9 split. Great Brook is still very low and the traffic was both light and courteous. Aston Pottery is always a good stop and was a new venue for a couple of riders. Six of us partook of extra coffee at the end of the ride. Average speed 20kph. Thanks to RT for sweeping duties. | ||
