We cycled through Denchworth and Goosey, across the A417 to Baulking and Uffington. A left turn brought us to the base of Fawler hill and apart from three riders who walked the final bit, everyone made it up the climb. After a short eastward trip up the B4507, we then turned left, down through Westcot and Sparsholt, took a right through Childrey, then back across the B4507 and home via the Letcombes. Richard D kindly rode sweep for me and everyone appeared to keep up well. Those that left the ride in the final stages all notified me of their departure and I would say the ride turned out to be a leader | ||
