Problems immediately set in with Edith getting a puncture in the carpark, and a keen group dropping the leader.We attempted to regroup at the foot of the White Horse hill where 4 of us set off to chase down the few that had already climbed the hill,leaving the rest to follow Neil on fixed once Edith had caught up. Piers passed us towards the top of the hill, his second loop, and when we returned to the Uffington junction there was still no sign of Edith and some of the group had left anyhow, to be followd by the rest making their own way back via Goosey I waited for Edith and our sweep to arrive, then decided that the leader should arrive first, and set out on the chase catching up just as they turned into Millbrook Square. | ||
