Description:Off-road ride around local tracks, usually about 15 miles. Knobbly tyres required and good lights when it gets dark (‘get you home’ lights in Spring/Autumn). We are keen to welcome new riders and can make recommendations or have spare lights to borrow if you let me know. Dark, cold and wet - we’ll ride in any two. But please let me know if you are coming so I can tell you if we decide to cancel due to really bad weather. |

And that darkness happened just before Chris managed to put a tear in his tyre sidewall, unfortunately the sealant didn't seal it, so we had to put a tube in.The ride was good though! It was particularly enjoyable to go through the woods around Harwell in the night, with the lights on, seeing the shadows dance. Our route was out on the cycle track, up at Goddards Brook, East on the Ridegway, down at Harwell corner, along the fence to the woods and around them. Then arriving at the Sustrans track and realising how much time we had used, we just turned west and headed for home! | ||
