Description:Half day ride (60-70km / 38-45 miles), with a tea stop, riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). Likely to visit distant destinations. Not suitable for irregular riders. Climbing likely. This is a pre-bookable ride. To book a place, text your name to the ride leader no earlier than 9:00am on the Sunday before the ride. You will receive confirmation or be advised that the ride is fully booked. A reserve list will be maintained.We’ll head out towards Hatford, then we’ll pass through Littleworth, Thrupp, over The Thames at Radcot, then onto Clanfield. This will be our first option for an early tea stop. Blake’s Kitchen. We’ll then turn onto to some nice quiet lanes, passing through Broadwell, Filkins, Langford & Little Faringdon. We’ll then have our main climb of the day Snowswick Ln. Which will take us up to Coleshill. This will be our second option for an later tea stop. Carpenters Canteen. From this point, we’ll head towards Great Coxwell, passing through Little Coxwell, Fernham, Baulking arriving back in Grove for around 13:30hrs. Ride distance. 44 mi/ 72km.
