Riders:Alan Jones (dec)David Newnham Eve Thornton Jane Bruffell Julie Greenwood Olivier Bastier Richard Divall Steve Swanton Riders = 8 Report:Richard led a small group in a large circle of the Vale in the fog and cold. Eve and Dave arrived in the Market Place covered in icicles. We ended up at Steventon Village Hall for mulled wine and a picnic. Some Sections have taken to using pretty tablecloths, napkins and wine, so Wantage definitely is in need of some refining! A few mechanical failures happened: Steve Swanton never even got to the Market Place as his bike suffered a split wheel rim. Steve managed to join us for lunch however. Jane's bag was hanging half off her bike as the plastic screw holding it in place sheared in half; the main thing was though that the bottle of wine in the bag was not lost!Olivier and Julie joined us for their first ride with the Wantage Section.
