The weather was good apart from a stiff breeze and we were able to set a pace of 12mph. Kevin bringing his son Tom on a tag-along left us at Hanney and Jane left us at Abingdon. Unfortunately young Lee was not able to finish having run out of energy at Netherton and had to be picked up by his mother. Unfortunately this was not noticed by those in front, though two other members of the party did stay with him. To avoid this in future we all need to learn to watch out as much for those behind us as those in front and warn those ahead when the group is not holding together. Fortunately the two who stayed with him were able to rejoin the party at Millets.

Millets, by the way, has been voted too expensive for a return visit and I intend to avoid it in future.
