Description:Monthly 80-100km (50-65 miles) all-day touring ride, lunch and possibly tea stop en route, at a riding pace of 18-22km/h (11-14mph). Not suitable for irregular riders. Climbing almost inevitable. As a courtesy to the ride leader, we ask that you pre-book for this ride. This is a pre-bookable ride. To book a place, text your name to the ride leader no earlier than 9:00am on the Monday before the ride. You will receive confirmation or be advised that the ride is fully booked. A reserve list will be maintained.We'll head out through Childrey and Uffington before following the Springline to Bishopstone. We'll then go through Shrivenham before stopping at Coleshill for lunch (26miles). Afterwards we'll go through Radcot and up Littleworth Hill before heading back to Wantage via Denchworth and Grove. This ride is at the lower distance end of a 3*, being only 51 miles, which means we should be back by mid afternoon. |
