Riders:Amanda SeddonAngela Sanders Chris Walters David Bridge Ginny Henderson Glen Savegar Henk Altmann (deceased) Jon Seddon Mavis Rose Nick Dunton Robert Shaw Robert Wyatt Steve Sanders Steve Swanton Riders = 14 Report:We headed off at a steady pace in glorious sunshine. Can this really be November?Approaching the railway bridge at Baulking, heard a sharp bang from behind,(It did seem a bit early in the day for fireworks!).On investigation though,it appeared that Robert W had punctured his back tyre quite spectacularly.Luckily he was close to home, and decided to abandon the ride at this point, but met up with us later on at Wantage museum.I decided it might make sense to complete the route(a shortish 30 plus miles)in one, with a tea stop at the very end.Stopped for a water break above Compton Beauchamp, with Steve taking the opportunity to snap some photographs, the Autumn colours were wonderful.Seemed to lose the group a little on the homeward leg.In hindsight,it may have been a good idea to split into faster and slower groups.Dropped down into Sparsholt, climbed out of Childrey, and wound through the Letcombes with the remainder of the group(Thanks for sticking with me!),arriving at the museum in good time for tea and cakes. Thanks everyone for a lovely afternoons cycling.Glen S.
