Riders:Brian HipwellEdith Hipwell Kevin Fairs Mavis Rose Neil Warner Pat Hurt Richard Divall Steve Swanton Riders = 8 Report:Scorching day but with a cooling breeze.We went to Burford, but in the absence of any new riders, the ride was extended to about 55 miles. Some of us enjoyed plunginmg through the Ford at Shilton (to the alarm of the girls who were playing in the water nearby). Lunch at Royal Oak and then back via Minster Lovell, Bampton and Buckland to Stanford in the Vale, where we stopped off for half an hour at the fete. The shop had sold out of ice creams! Jan, Laurent and Ed were doing a stirling job with their cycling stand using some of our library diplay posters and a selection of Roberts bikes. An excellent day. | ||
