Description:I have 2 possible routes, one for wet weather going by way of West Lockinge up on to the ridgeway and down to South Fawley and along towards Sheepdrove before turning north back on to the ridgeway.Route 2 is harder and is a great ride but it does need to be dry and goes by way of Ginge and along ridgeway till A34 before heading SW pass gallops. Right on to Ilsley downs riding route,pass Lands end climbing back on to the ridgeway. About 20 miles with a 2hour 30minute journey time. |

Report:Route 2 was chosen as conditions were sunny and dry. Despite the low turnout the ride was most enjoyable and the trio were kept company by the numerous pheasants, rabbits and squirrels scurrying across the riders track, particularly in the wooded areas.Frank spotted a fox and a large Kite flew low overhead possibly to inspect us. A ride and nature study! To finish a pint in the Shoulder of Mutton pub in Wantage. | ||
