Description:A short 50km circuit around the Vale for a couple of hours to blow away the cobwebs and warm up a little! Janet left us at Steventon to go home and thaw out, following a warming dash across Cow Common. As we got north of the A420, I'm not quite sure what Brian was on, but he showed us all a clean pair of heels for much of the way back - I reckon Edith has been putting "rocket fuel" into her mince pies this year By the time we got to Park Lane, the sun was low on the horizon and the temperature dropped pretty noticably. It was a good job we weren't far from home then, as most people were pretty chilled. In all, a nice paced 50km, the ride details are here: http://connect.garmin.com/player/1690666.
