Description:Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Short morning ride, riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph).Starting from The Beacon and heading out through the villages to Ashbury we'll then tackle the hill before going down to Lambourn and then heading for Hackpen and back to Wantage. 31 miles so a short one, but there's a whole day ride on Monday as well. |

The fields and downs were looking fresh and green in the sunshine and we were lucky enough to see a lapwing in Letcombe Regis.A hilly ride but made enjoyable by great company. My thanks to Ed for taking the headwind for me from Ashbury to Lambourn and to Kath for keeping me company up the last hill. | ||
