Description:RIDE CANCELLED. Too much rain and standing water.- Please pre-book for this ride by contacting the ride leader. Half day ride (60-70km / 38-45 miles), with a tea stop, riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). Note the start time : 11:15 from Old Mill Hall Come and join me for a fairly flat leisuerly ride to Proof Social bakery (https://www.proofbakehouse.com/ ), out through Tubney, Cothill and Sunningwell, with our break just about at the half way point, and then take the National Cycle Network route back through Abingdon to return via Steventon (Will be back in good time for the football if anyone cares!) Note - Having heard great things about this cafe, I called in for my first time last Saturday.... it didn't disappoint, although the cake selection was a little limited by the time I got there (about 1pm) |
