Report:
A good turnout on a dull coldish day. The planned route was mainly flat, though the descent from Cumnor towards Farmoor brought smiles to a few faces. A welcome coffee and cake stop in Eynsham was extended by a rider who would probably prefer to remain anonymous, but is identified as Steve B, who padlocked three bikes together then did not know the combination to undo it!

Steve S volunteered to try and locate a hardware store to obtain bolt cutters or hacksaw to free the bikes. However after several phone calls someone was found who provided the required digits and the bikes were released. At this point Steve S returned not with cutters but with a man from the local tackle and bait shop who claimed to be able to pick the lock. needless to say when he attempted to show off this prowess he failed.
We then returned to Grove relatively uneventfully apart from one of Steve Bs party falling into the road as we waited for some riders to get through some traffic lights.

My thank to everyone for your patience and company.

Maurice.
