Many apologies for the lack of website over the past week. Our hosting company suffered a RAID failure which caused a data corruption on the server.
The databases were saved fortunately so we haven’t lost any data. Unfortunately the rest of the site was lost and we’ve had to rebuild the website from backups. Everything is working as far as we know except the ride photos which may have been lost. They are showing as broken images at the moment whilst a backup is found.
If you notice anything awry or something not working as before please email website@ctcwantage.org.uk with details.
Update :- we’re hopeful that a backup of the photos can be found, if not we have a list of all the photos so we might be asking ride leaders to send them in so they can re-uploaded in bulk. Note that the slideshow on the home page is currently broken as it hunts for non-existent images! You can still upload new images if you wish.
Update 2 :- You may occasionally see a 500 error. Please refresh the page to see the content if this happens. This is causing some of the stats graphs to show as broken images. We’ve raised this issue with the host.\
Update 3 :- Most of the ride photos are back. A few are corrupted which is causing the slideshow on the front page to hang. These will be fixed ASAP. Some media content from some of the very old blog posts is missing and these will be replaced at some point.
