Report:Six of us set off from Grove on a very cool & cloudy morning. No real dramas to report on the first half of the ride. The roads were very quiet, which was nice. We arrived at Aston Pottery for 11:10am. The cafe was very quiet indeed, just a few other cycle clubs enjoying some beverages. Service was as normal excellent, we all enjoyed our drinks & some scrumptious cakes. The second half of the was nice & quiet. The ride leader suffered a rear blowout, this was soon fixed & we made good headway for Grove. We said goodbye to Katherine at Goosey, as she wanted to get some more miles in, getting ready for her 100 Mile ride on Thursday. We arrived back in Grove in good time. Thanks to everyone for your company, a lovely group to lead! Hope to see you all very soon. | ||
