The drizzle soon stopped, but the wind did not. Unfortunately, Nick had a mechanical at Goosey junction so he had to abandon and return home, which he did with no further problems. We carried on into the wind with a photo shoot at the Great Barn. When we arrived at Blakes in Coleshill it was crammed full with no seating inside or outside, but fortunately a fellow group of cyclists were just leaving and we had their table.For the return, we decided to do a bit of off-road and took the track through the park coming out by the windmills on the Highworth Road. Everyone said they enjoyed it as a change. A very enjoyable ride with good company. | ||
