Report:What a morning light showers gave way to full on rain and it was a suprise that 4 crazy cyclists joined the ride! So given the option we took the planned route out to Childrey, Sparsholt and up to the Spring line. At this point we decided to take the direct route to Stanford for coffee Kingston Lisle, and down Fawler hill to join the A 417 at the Baulking turn where we turned left to Stanford. We were wet, drenched and in need of a coffee, the staff were most accommodating providing bin liners for us to sit on and great coffee and refreshments. A long coffee chat and recharge before we headed back to Grove via Hatford Charney and Denchworth. Great to be out with good company and thanks so much to Des for leading! | ||
