Description:Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. The Ride Leaders work hard to organise the rides and it helps them greatly to know numbers at least a day in advance. Whilst there may be rare occasions where this may not be practical, please do everything you can to let the Ride Leader know if you are joining a ride at least 24 hours before.Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time for the ride leaders briefing and a prompt start to the ride. 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). Whilst it wasn't the glorious, very hot weather we've been having recently, it wasn't that bad either! Despite the forecast being a bit grim, it was dry when we were in the car park, so we thought we'd give it a go. The drizzle soon started, and it was damp and blowy for a while, we decided to modify the route slightly and went straight up to Kingstone Lisle rather than going via Uffington and having a warm up on Fawler hill. Then onwards and upwards over blowingstone (at least it wasn't too hot), and down the other side. Then a climb up before the descent into the Letcombes and back via Wantage | ||
