Description:Monthly 80-100km (50-65 miles) all-day touring ride, lunch and possibly tea stop en route, at a riding pace of 18-22km/h (11-14mph). Not suitable for irregular riders. A ride out to one of my favourite cafes at Coln St Aldwyn (28 miles) via Shrivenham and then onto Aston Pottery for a second stop (52 miles) before returning to Grove. Riders:Barry StantonEddie Little Jo Little Katherine Boyce Lisa Footner Sharon Bedford Riders = 6 Weather:    Report:After a torrential downpour the day before, and a weather report that promised rain, it was decided to cut the route short to avoid the outdoor cafe stop at Coln St Aldwyn. Lisa was a bit late to the start but caught us up soon after Shrivenham. We managed to get within 20 minutes of Aston pottery before the rain started and were very pleased to get inside. Jan arrived just as we were leaving, but we carried on as we wanted to get home before the next load of rain - which we did!Thanks to those who helped take the wind for me and to everyone for being a great group to ride with. | ||
