Maurice was particularly pleased with the chosen route as it meant he could do some hills! From Grove we headed up to Letcombe and the first "little" hill saw the tough ones going a pelter up the hill -a warm up to the climb up Hackpen Hill. David enjoyed Hackpen hill so much that he went back down so he could climb again. The best thing about getting up the top of a hill is you have to come down and the stunning views. The Lambourn Valley was at its best and all too soon we had to turn right and ride up the seven barrows road to the top of Blowingstone Hill. A variety of tactics were taken on the descent (brakes on all the way down for some)but we all got safetly to the bottom. From there we headed back to Grove via Goosey.
