Description:A 40 mile (65km) route, out through Wantage and the Letcombes, over the Ridgeway to Lambourn, back across to Ashbury, into the Vale, over to Faringdon for a tea stop. Then a flat route home via Uffington and Denchworth. |

The group kept together well and we made good time, averaging 14mph. We enjoyed the usual good service and great home made cakes at the Faringdon Coffee Shop before heading for home in the gathering gloom. There was a certain friskiness amongst some, no doubt related to the imminent kick-off of the rugby. This was rudely interrupted by a pothole-induced double puncture for JT in Denchworth, 2 miles from home. However, a slick team swung into action and it felt a bit like a Formula 1 pit stop. Thanks to all for a great ride. | ||
