Description:I was thinking hilly this week, but couldn't quite square that with the need to be back in Denchworth in good time for a restorative isotonic recovery pint at the Fox. So - a fast, flat route instead, via Hanney, Steventon, Abingdon, Gozzard's Ford, Frilford and Charney Bassett. Should be about 24 miles and we will aim to do that in not too much more than 1.5 hours. |

We partly followed last week's route through the Letcombes, up Hackpen, down again to Sparsholt and along the villages to Uffington. We then added an extra loop out towards Fernham before setting a cracking pace back to the pub in Denchworth. A bit faster than we would normally consider decent, but it was a good group that stayed together extremely well. Thanks to everyone for a very enjoyable evening.(oh, and the girls' alternative group did beat the men back to the pub, but only because they took a short cut...) | ||
