Description:This week will be fast (reasonably) and flat out towards Denchworth, Goosey, Baulking and Uffington then back via Longcot, Fernham, Shellingford, Hatford, Gainfield and Charney Bassett hopefully with the wind behind us and hopefully arriving at the Fox in Denchworth to meet the other groups at 20:00 (celebrating the CTC Certificate of Merit recently awarded to Steve). It will be 22 miles to the Fox with only 137 metres of climbing! Lights would be advisable to get back from the pub. |

The pace was good and we completed the 22 miles to the Fox with 4 minutes to spare! The average speed being just over 16mph. A warm welcome to Kevin Thompson who made his debut ride with the CTC and showed a very good turn of speed! The designated 'hot spot' was the run in to the Longcot turn and most enjoyed the dash! The pace was a little more relaxed on the homeward stretch and all in all the ride proved to be good solid exercise. Thanks to all! | ||
