Description: Long, hilly, quick - or any combination! - 35-45km Boars Hill and back. Denchworth, Garford, Marcham, Wootton, Boars Hill, Dry Sandford, Tubney, Fyfield Wick, West Hanney, Denchworth 47km so prompt 6.30pm start please.

We had a lovely tailwind out to Wootton so were flying along. Young Robbie Ryan was King of the Mountains up Boar's Hill and got to the top first. Great view across to Oxford bathed in golden evening sunshine before the fast descent back down Foxcombe Hill. A slightly different route back to vary the ride and the wind had completely died away so the feared headwind heading back didn't really materialise. Great riding from the group to keep up the pace over exactly 30 miles distance at 16.7mph average.
