Description:Weekly 1.5 - 2 hours at a riding pace of 20-24km/h (13-15mph). May be hilly. Optional stop at The Fox in Denchworth at the end of the ride.Original plan was to go up Blowingstone Hill but as it's club night and we need to return via Denchworth, route now goes up Hackpen Hill. Please note that I am not fast up hills, so there will be a pause at the top of large hills! |

Once that had been accomplished we had a pleasant evening ride, good views, lots of hares and a group of buzzards over the Downs.Despite the threatening clouds, we had the merest hint of rain, which was a relief after last weeks weather. Bit of a head wind on the way out that meant we had to pedal down to Seven Barrows rather than take advantage of the downhill. However this ensured a good run-in to the Fox at Denchworth where most of us paused for convivial conversation and refreshments. | ||
