We were way behind the other groups leaving, wanted to give Nicole a fighting chance of catching up after she'd sorted a puncture. Has to be a record, getting a puncture before the briefing :(.

We then took up the challenge of finding the 2* group, accomplished just beyond Windmill Hill. A slight pause for a chain replacement before sweeping through Kingston Lisle and on to Faringdon.

We picked up Nicole before the group started to gather for the Denchworth dash. And what an epic dash it was. Those giving it a miss could only look on in awe as the group looked record breaking. All within the bounds of a 3* ride of course!

Thanks to Louis for ensuring no one was lost. Great group to ride with.
