Report:
A welcome dry evening for the Tuesday rides (and we avoided the shower that hit Grove while we were out).

Our small 1* group has been progressing nicely, and at their request rode at a pace of about 11mph. We stopped briefly by the church in Charney Bassett before continuing on to Gainfield, where an aerial dogfight between a red kite and a jackdaw caught our attention. As the evening seemed to be turning colder, we rested only briefly in Stanford before continuing along Park Lane and back to Denchworth via Asti Stud.

First group at the very busy Fox, we found the garden full of folk musicians and dancers in old-fashioned dress. Quite a spectacle! We bagged the settee by the bar and were joined by Barbara's family and Lorna for a drink and a meal, before the other groups arrived.

Another enjoyable evening.
